The Electoral Commission will start receiving online nominations from candidates for both the European Parliament and Local Council Elections from next Tuesday, 16 April from 9:00am till 7:00pm on Sunday, 22 April. Applications online can be submitted through the Electoral Commission’s website www.electoral.gov.mt.
From the website, one can also find all the information on how the online applications should be filled in and submitted.
A deposit of €90 may be submitted online, however, candidates wishing to pay by cash, must do so by not later than 7:00pm on Sunday 22 April.
The Electoral Commission also announced that they will be receiving nominations at their offices at the Naxxar Counting Complex and at the Identity Management Office, St Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo, on Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th, Thursday 18th, Saturday 20th and Monday 22nd April 2019, from 9:00am till 1:00pm and from 3:00pm till 7:00pm. Candidates are required to present their ID cards.
