A man was seriously injured during an argument which happened at about 1:30am last night in Triq it-Tamar, St Paul’s Bay. Both men involved in the argument are Nigerian, one is 30 years old and resides in St Paul’s Bay, whilst the other is 37 years old and resides in Gżira.
In a statement the Police said that a sharp weapon was most likely used during hte argument. Both men were taken to Mater Dei Hospital were one was confirmed to be suffering from grevious injuries whilst the otherone was only slightly injured.
The magistrate on call, Natasha Galea Sciberras was informed about the case and appointed court experts to assist in an inquiry opened on the case. The police are investigating.
