Together, for Our Country to improve the quality of life for Maltese and Gozitans – Adrian Delia

Together, for our country because the PN has the political will to improve the lives of families, workers, youth and the elderly.

The Leader of the Opposition said this during a phone interview on NET FM, during which he also wished everyone a Happy Easter. He reiterated that the PN draws up its policies around people, who our candidates meet every day in visits to different localities and on the work place.

Tomorrow, the PN will officially launch its electoral campaign for the European Parliament and Local Councils on 25 May, themed Together, for our country.

Our politics is translating to concrete proposals the PN is proposing, including those focused on farmers, promoting fresh, local produce, proposals for Local Councils, construction waste, fighting cancer, environmental sustainability, EU funding for SMEs, the autonomy of the public service and also proposals specifically for Gozo.

Next Sunday, 28 April, the PN will convene its General Council, during which it will put forward the Party’s electoral programme for the upcoming elections on 25 May.

The General Council will be addressed by the Chairman of the European People’s Party, Manfred Weber, who is also the candidate for the EPP to succeed Jean Claude Juncker, as President of the European Commission.

As a full member of the European People’s Party, voting for all the PN’s candidates would result in a vote for Weber too. In contrast, the European Socialist party’s electoral programme includes access to abortion.

During the General Council, the PN MEPs work will also be highlighted, including work for which Maltese and Gozitans are reaping the benefits.

Following the General Council, the PN will also be organizing a fundraising marathon on 1 May, in order to be able to ensure that the electoral campaign will also be financially sustainable.
