Muscat also refrains from condemning Sant’s hate speech

Joseph Muscat joined members of his cabinet who have let Alfred Sant’s hate speech slide. Almost excusing him, the Prime Minister suggested that Alfred Sant’s speech was no big deal.

Informed sources close to the Castille gang told us that the hateful words at the start of the Socialist Party’s Annual General Conference marred the start of the electoral campaign which Labour is insisting on it being full of negativity, arrogance and insults.

At the same time however, the Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne, who is generally considered to be more moderate, not only defended Alfred Sant’s hate speech, but also said that his words are “relevant”.

The old mantra used be the Head of the Socialist Party’s delegation to the European Parliament really and truly takes us back thirty years.

MP Edward Zammit Lewis and Alex Muscat also refrained from condemning Sant’s hate speech at the Socialist Party’s Annual General Conference.

In the meantime, during another plenary session of the same conference, prominence was given to Konrad Mizzi’s speech who is being pushed to become Malta’s next Prime Minister.

The sheer arrogance of the Socialist Party shined through during Chris Fearne’s speech. Suddenly, the Socialist Party is not claiming to be the underdogs in this election.

Minister Ian Borg was also arrogantly certain of another victory, whilst Robert Abela and Chris Cardona like their colleagues, focused solely on negative attacks directed at Nationalists
