Muscat harshly criticized by GWU official

“If the Prime Minister himself can’t save money, what are the chances that other workers manage to save money?”

This is what Kendrick Bondin posted yesterday on Facebook after the Prime Minister told journalists that he doesn’t manage to save a penny. Bondin is the GWU Government and Public Entities section secretary.

Bondin continued “If such a statement is true, it clearly proves that the minimum wage and wages in general should increase.”

The journalists questions followed the Prime Minister’s declaration of assets, claiming exactly the same amount of savings over a five year period, to which he then replied that he doesn’t manage to “save a penny”.
