Minister of Health not worried about pollution

The Minister of Health is not worried about the dangerous emissions we are breathing. Net News asked Minister Fearne whether the Government will be taking any actions with regards to these problems.

This whilst Minister Fearne, together with the President of MUMN Paul Pace addressed a Press Conference on the occasion of Nurses Day. Pace mentioned the several challenges which they constantly come face to face with, including those which are a direct result of the increase in population. These comments in particular irked Minister Fearne and made him visibly uncomfortable.

Corridors previously used at what seemed to be temporary arrangements to accomodate patients, are now formally named wards. This is what happened at MIU, MITU and Observation 1A.

Paul Pace also spoke about the difficult problems nurses and doctors are working in, particularly in the Intensive Care Unit, for which the Union is for the first time considering industrial action.

Net News also asked Minister Fearne about medication needed to treat ADHD, which in recent weeks was changed to a cheaper and inferior brand, having disastrous consequences for those who are dependent on it.

Fearne replied that nothing has changed yet and discussions with medical professionals are ongoing.
